Description

Listed for sale is an original 1960s womb chair, designed by renowned architect and furniture designer Eero Saarinen. This is one of Saarinen s most iconic works, which was introduced in 1948. This particular example dates to circa mid 1960s and notably retains both the original black finish to the base and also the original white vinyl upholstery. The chair is in remarkably nice condition for an example of this vintage. The vinyl presents well with some light wear as shown. The base finish is still quite nice, though it appears to be missing the back leveling feet. We can supply slip-on glides if desired.
